
Paul Van Lenten, Jr. is a legislative fiscal analyst for the Committee and has been in this position since October, 2003. He is currently responsible for providing staff support for the areas of Natural Resources and General Government.
Prior to joining the Appropriations Committee Staff, Paul worked for the Department of Planning and Budget in the Budget Operations Section, where he worked with agencies assigned to the Administration and Finance secretariats and Independent Agencies. Paul also worked four years for the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission, where he assisted in the completion of a number of studies involving agencies in the Natural Resources secretariat. Paul holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary.
